At Self, our mission is to help people take control of their credit. What's your mission?

The Self scholarship is our way of helping the next generation of entrepreneurs. If you have the entrepreneurial spirit, then we are interested in hearing from you.

Apply by July 31, 2022

Who are we looking for?

You are a full-time student enrolled in a two year, four year, or graduate program. This scholarship is open to students who are pursuing a degree in one of the following majors: business, finance, entrepreneurship, computer science, economics, accounting or mathematics.

Self employees, contractors and their family members are not eligible to participate in this program

What do we need from you?
  • Your current college transcript
  • Your current resume
  • 500 to 800 word essay on the following topic:

    "Tell us how you interact with credit. Are you doing anything to build credit history today? If so, are you using a credit card or some other form of credit building tool?"

How to apply

Email your transcript, your resume and your 500 to 800 word essay to scholarship@self.inc with the subject line "2022 Self Scholarship".

After we receive all of the requested information, we will have our team go through and pick the winner! The winner will be announced no later than September 1, 2022 and will receive a $1000 check.
